SCHOOL!!

Ok it has been soooo long since I posted on here. The big news in my life is I start cosmetology school tomorrow morning! I am so excited. Honestly I haven't been this excited about anything in a long time (besides my wedding). I am finally starting a career and getting out of dead end jobs. I get so tired of waiting tables and having people look at me like I am a slave. I'm not your slave just because I bring you food and drink!! After this weekend (in which I worked a lot!) I have decided that we need to offer a restaurant etiquette course in high school!! People are so rude to their server it's ridiculous! In this course they need to teach how to treat your server as well as how to TIP your server. No, 10% is not a high tip and I don't get excited when I see it. Actually I get really ticked and want to go back to you, give you the money, and say, "I think you need this more than I do." That is how mad it makes me. I have to tip out 2% of my earnings (that means out of my pocket) to each host or QSS (bus boy/girl) that was on that night. So most of the time I am tipping out 6% of my earnings.

Anyways, enough ranting about work. SCHOOL IN THE MORNING!! So I need to go get some house work done so I don't feel so lazy when I get home from school.

My first double since I've been back

Well I worked a double today and I made it through. They made me train someone tonight. I mean HELLO! It is my 3rd day back and you want me to train someone? It went ok until one of my last tables was extremely rude. I felt bad cuz Kristy (the girl I was training) didn't know what to think. But yeah, I made it through.

I'm sorry I am super tired so this probably doesn't make any sense....I'm gonna get off.

First Day Back at Ruby Tuesday

Well, it's official. I am a Ruby Tuesday employee again. It feels so weird going back to the place that I thought I had said good bye to forever. I didn't want to go back, but I know that it's only temporary. I am glad that I had a place I could go back to after the whole incident at the day care. I don't know what I would have done. So, thank you Ruby Tuesday for being my "fall-back plan." I am thankful that my brother-in-law and sister-in-law came in to visit me half way through my day. It made me happy.

I work again tomorrow morning. It will be my first time serving during brunch...so we'll see how this goes. I'll post again tomorrow night, but I'm tired right now.

Wasting time.

Well I am about to leave for my tour of Clary Sage. It's the best cosmetology school in Tulsa, OK and I am extremely excited! So I am wasting time. For some reason it seems like when I am way excited about something I always get dressed and make up done too early...so I have to sit and wait until it's time to go. Oh, make up for today :

I decided to do a smoky purple look because it really brings out my green eyes, and it would be a perfect way to use several of my new brushes :) BTW I am totally loving my new e.l.f. brand brushes. They are from their regular collection (not the studio brand) and I am in love. They feel like professional grade brushes and they were only $1 a piece! Yeah, I am a total bargain shopper, that's how my mommy raised me.

I also used my new NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as my primer, and man, I am in love. I thought it was gonna be too sticky when I put it down, but once I started applying eyeshadow it worked perfectly. I am completely satisfied with all of my purchases I made at e.l.f. and Ulta yesterday! A little "Pick-me-up" shopping is what I am calling it, because it really did make my day so much better.

Well, I should probably go get some food in my stomach so I don't pass out at my tour lol. Talk to you soon.

Today...was not the best day, and yet it was

Well, today I got fired from my job. This is the first time I have ever been fired, and I didn't take it well. I cried, not in front of my boss, but as soon as I got outside the building. It was stupid, the whole situation was stupid, but I'm not gonna let it get me down. I already have a place to go, so I'll be ok.

The best part of my day was my e.l.f. package came in the mail finally!! AAAHHH! Make up can make even my worst of days better. I got all my brushes, that I LOVE, my face make up, eyeliners, and lipglosses. And if that wasn't enough, me and my little sister-in-law, Martina, went to Ulta and I got a new hair brush, and a NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk! I've been wanting one of those for weeks now, and I'm really glad that Ulta carried them because I was prepared to spend about $10 just to have one mailed to me. lol. The desperate things we women do for make up.

The sad part is that make up really made my day better. As soon as I walked into Ulta, all my problems were gone. The only thing that was on my mind was beauty. Honestly that's how I know that this is what I'm supposed to do with my life. It makes me happy, no matter what my situations are. I've never had anything make me feel that way before.

So, soon enough I will begin Cosmetology school...before June of this year is my goal. Then I will be on my way to making the whole world silky smooth!! (If you haven't seen You Don't Mess With the Zohan, you have no idea what I'm talking about)

Well, it's time for me to go to bed and sleep this day off.

Still waiting on my e.l.f. delivery

I'm getting rather anxious waiting on my e.l.f. delivery. I really want my new make up and brushes. :)  I wish it would get here already. I think it's supposed to be here on Wednesday if not Tuesday.
